Every weekend, as the golden hour descends over the Tonle Sap River, Phnom Penh\u2019s riverside promenade transforms into a vibrant, car-free cultural celebration known as Walk Street \u2014 and it\u2019s quickly becoming the city\u2019s favorite way to spend a Saturday or Sunday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launched as a pilot by the Phnom Penh Municipal Administration, Walk Street stretches from Street 94 near Paschim Chamkorn to the front of the Royal Palace. Open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, the initiative has turned a bustling road into a pedestrian paradise.
